  • How can I get to your place?
    Our place is about a 5-minute drive from Takyo Station on the Izu-Hakone railway. Free pick up and drop off from/to Takyo Station. If your group is 4 people, a free pick-up service is not available. However, you can get to our place on foot from Takyo Station(about a 20-minute walk).1 car parking is also available. We will let you know our address three days before the class. You can check the directions on this map. From Shuzenji Station (Izu-Hakone-railway) to our place It takes about 20 minutes from Shuzenji Station by taxi. Or, it takes about 10 minutes from Shuzenji station to Takyo station by the Izu-Hakone railway. You can use a free pick-up service from Takyo station. From Mishima Station (Shinkansen/JR/Izu-Hakone-railway) to Takyo Station It takes about 30 minutes from Mishima Station to get to Takyo Station by the Izu-Hakone railway. From Atami Station (JR) to Takyo Station It takes about 15 minutes from Atami Station to Mishima Station. At Mishima Station, transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway. It takes about 30 minutes from Mishima Station to Takyo Station. From Shizuoka station (Shinkansen) to Takyo Station It takes about 30 minutes from Shizuoka Station to Mishima Station by Shinkansen. At Mishima Station, transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway. It takes about 30 minutes from Mishima Station to Takyo Station. From Tokyo station (Shinkansen) to Takyo Station It takes about 1 hour from Tokyo Station to Mishima Station by Shinkansen. At Mishima Station, transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway.   • Is the price based on per class or person?
    The price shows per class. Up to two people can join a class without an additional fee.
  • How many people can join an in-person class?
    If you would like to use a free pick-up service, max three people can join a class. If you don’t use a free pick-up service, max four people can join a class. One car parking is available. Up to two people can join an in-person class without an additional fee. The fee after the third person is half-price. Children under 12 are free of charge.
  • Can children join an in-person class?
    Yes, they can! As our class is private, feel free to join a class with your children. Actually, children have joined our class and enjoyed cooking. Children under 12 are free of charge.
  • How many people can join an online class?
    Up to two people can join an online class at the same time. Our classes are private lessons. You can join alone or with your family, partner, or friend. *Please use the same device.
  • How can I join an online class?
    You can join an online cooking class via Google Meet. We'll send the URL to join the class via Google Meet three days before the class. Create a Google account in advance. We'll send recipes three days before the class so you can prepare well. You can check the necessary ingredients and tools on this webpage. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask us. *Up to two people can join an online cooking class, but please use the same device.

  • Can I have recipes for a cooking class?
    Yes, you can. We will provide recipes so that you can cook them yourself later. For an online class, we will send recipes three days before the class. For an onsite class, we will hand recipes to you on the day.
  • Are your cooking classes hands-on or demonstration-based?
    Our classes are hands-on. You cook all the dishes yourself! For some menus, we will show you a demonstration before you start cooking.
  • I have a food allergy or restrictions...Can I still join your cooking class?
    Yes, you can. Please let us know when you send a booking request. We'll accommodate as much as we can.
  • How can I book?
    1. You can send a booking request from our class page. Select a class, and choose the day and time from our calendar. When you open our calendar, it will show Japan Standard Time GMT+09:00 at first. If you would like to view it in your local time zone, click “Time zone: Japan Standard time GMT+09:00”, then your local time zone will be shown, so select and click your local time zone. Fill in our booking form, and click the button “Request to book”. Once you send a booking request, you will receive an automatic email. *Your booking is not completed at this time. 2. Once we approve your booking, you will receive a confirmation email that your appointment is all set. We will also send an invoice with another email. In case you don’t receive a confirmation and an invoice within two days after you send a booking request, please let us know via email or our website. 3. Proceed with payment within two days after you receive an invoice. We accept payments through the website using Stripe; Stripe accepts all major credit cards and debit cards. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a receipt. Now everything is completed. *In case we can’t confirm your payment within two days, we may cancel your booking.
  • How can I pay?
    We accept payments through the website using Stripe for added security. Stripe accepts all major credit cards and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, ChinaUnionPay, JCB, Diners, CartesBancaires, Discover, Electron, Maestro). Once your booking is approved, you will receive an invoice. Proceed with payment within two days since you receive an invoice.
  • How far in advance do I need to book?
    You can book 60 days before the class. Please book at least 7 days before the class.
  • Can I cancel or reschedule my class?
    Please contact us via email or the website if you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation. Free cancellation or rescheduling of your classes as long as we have been notified 10 days prior. If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation between 10 days and 72 hours prior to the class, you will receive a 50% refund/credit. No refund/credit will be given for the cancellation or rescheduling of your booking 72 hours prior to the class.
  • What if I'm late?
    If you are going to be late for your classes, please contact us as soon as possible. Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late, the class may be canceled. In this case, refunds will not be issued for any reason. Please prepare your schedule accordingly.
